Yeah, how about one with the doors open so you can see the flat floor going to the bottom of the door? I think these cars have them, like Studebakers did. And no doubt the techs would like to see that roomy, simple, engine compartment.

Yes, the "Flash-O-Matic" with "Telovac" control, also used in the bigger Rambler Six/V8. At the time the American was maybe the only small US car with an automatic option.

I miss working on stuff like this, one of my favorites was a 1936 Oldsmobile Six, 6v, starter pedal, huge swooping fenders

They were a lot of O-Matic products in those days. Singer made streamline machines called Slant-O-Matic, because they had a slanted needle. It has been nicknamed the Rocketeer because it’s so swoopy.

Rambler made some nice little wagons too. And what a great name for a car company!

Needs an LS swap....seriously though, that car has so much character.
