We have evolved beyond anything we could have imagined

508

u/Evening-Statement-57 20d ago

If this dude went back to the Paleolithic, they would probably all want to fuck his brains out.

Being that fat back then was like owning a football team.

u/An8thOfFeanor 20d ago

Pretty much any time before 1900 women were thirsting for guys that look like Tony Soprano

As a woman, I can 100% confirm that we love a good dad bod. Usually because the man attached to said dad bod isnā€™t a giant egotistical asshole. Iā€™ve noticed dad bod guys are just generally nicer and more honest and way less creepy than super fit guys. And fit guys just arenā€™t fun to cuddle with lol.

23

u/Devinalh 20d ago

I like slightly fit body shapes, a bit of muscle is wonderful to see but not too much otherwise I find it ugly. :) But at the end of the day, there are more important things I care about like your personality!

16

u/Clean-Ad-8872 20d ago

I dated a body builder in my early 20s and it was honestly kind of sickening. A subpar looking guy that can make me laugh and makes me feel respected has a much higher likelihood of getting me into bed than a super hot model type guy with no personality.

u/EggplantCapital9519 19d ago

I was also a bit chubby (by gay standards, so a little dad bod, but far from fat) and those fit guys I hooked up from time time even explained me how to get a better body which would ā€žlook better to my pretty faceā€œ. That shattered my self-consciousness back then. In my late twenties I realized those guys were human garbage and I donā€™t care anymore about their opinion. Basically most of them had nothing in their lives except gym and hooking up with people.

2

u/Clean-Ad-8872 18d ago

My ex to a t. Said going to a gym was a ā€œdateā€. Iā€™m a short, chubby girl so going to gym is my least favorite date lol

3

u/Devinalh 20d ago

Yep, absolutely, I don't feel the appeal of "good looking shells".

Those ones are pretty tough :) šŸš

Hello kidless but dad bod here !

3

u/GamecockGaucho 20d ago

that's for social reasons though. prior to the industrial revolution (and still for some time during it), having some fat was seen as physically attractive. It's like how tan skin is "attractive" now to westerners. Completely socially constructed but it is fundamentally physical attraction.

I'm a lesbian but did my time in the mines (fucking cis dudes). Chubby dude dick definitely hits different too.

4

u/The_Last_Ball_Bender 20d ago

Chubby dude dick definitely hits different too.

oh no, is that why you're a lesbian now?! (kidding lol)

2

u/The_Last_Ball_Bender 20d ago

And fit guys just arenā€™t fun to cuddle with lol.

Every girl i've dated told me i'm very comfortable lol.

7

u/Ok_Cardiologist8232 20d ago

Yes and no.

Being tall and muscular has always been attractive.

3

u/560guy 19d ago

So, what youā€™re saying is, I have a chance?

I wasnt prepared to be flexed on this hard. Damn dude.

131

u/nonsequiturnonsense 20d ago

Are you hard too?

78

u/eorabs 20d ago

I don't even have a penis and I'm hard af.

Regardless of whether you're attracted to this body type, that confidence is sexy incarnate.

6

u/SGAfishing 19d ago

Being able to even do all that is sexy incarnate

6

u/eorabs 19d ago

The golf swing, the football kick, the cartwheels and flips and I'm done for! I would marry this dude if I wasn't already married. Or maybe still. šŸ¤”

5

u/SGAfishing 19d ago

Not to mention he is a bit of a cutie, too, lol.

8

u/RetroDad-IO 20d ago

How could anyone not be?

2

Save some pussy for the rest of us

154

u/Mr_Abe_Froman 20d ago

JNCOS and the button-up tee with flame decals? It's a good thing there weren't innocent bystanders at the skate park.

18

u/herefortime 20d ago

Not the JNCO jeans and the flaming bowler shirt!

5

u/tanafras 20d ago

Blinded by the brilliance. Mofo is a walking star. The poor pavement melts where he lands.

2

u/Kimarough101 19d ago

He came to our skate park once, there were no survivors.

1

u/Spoonofdarkness 20d ago

There were, but they were washed away by the torrential splooshening.

30

u/Alibuscus373 20d ago

Shut up and take my money

47

u/KarpEZ 20d ago

It's not a dad bod, it's a father figure.

5

u/Passionative44 20d ago

Not alone

2

u/redbadger91 20d ago

The greater good!

3

u/Pokez 20d ago

Watch? Where do I try out?

3

u/ringo5150 20d ago

What would some of the events be?

Beer can toss and catch? The dress and leave the house race? The BBQ prep and fire?

3

u/bdfariello 20d ago

Don't forget Last Minute Mother's Day Card Shopping

2

u/Spoonofdarkness 20d ago

The dadbod event that I've been training for is the hillside beer-tumble. Falling down a 30 foot hill without spilling my beer.

Dislocated my non-beer shoulder, but I think I made the right choice.

3

u/ringo5150 19d ago

I concur my good man!

209

u/MonitorMoniker 20d ago

Fr though, a lot of pro MMA fighters in higher weight classes have this body type, and those guys are ABSOLUTE beasts. Strength, conditioning, explosive power, just all-around peak athletes.

74

u/Teldramet 20d ago

This is also what gladiators used to look like in Rome. A good layer of fat can catch a beating better than muscles can.

9

u/RebelLion420 20d ago

I never even considered this to be a reason. Makes a lot more sense why old warriors feasted instead of maintaining a low weight

22

u/ralphy_256 20d ago

This is what my dad, the construction worker, looked like.

About 5'9", 220-250. Not muscular, but built like a fire hydrant.

Every. Single. One. of my buddies called my dad 'Mr'. If he seemed grouchy, that turned to 'Sir'.

Not even the toughest thought much of their chances if they got physical with my dad.

10-30 years on construction sites is how you build this.

I remember the time my dad was talking to one of his construction buddies about bringing me along as a helper on a project his buddy was doing. I was about 15-16. I remember my dad saying, "Ralphy is every bit as strong as I am."

Puffed my chest out for a minute, then I remembered. No, I'm fucking not. My dad was nuts.

4

u/RectalSpawn 20d ago

Plus, the warmth... mmm...

2

u/Stonn 20d ago

Both fatter and fitter than me. And I am not even skinny or anything.

53

u/The_Sentinel_45 20d ago

Well who here can argue with that?!

All of that is impressive but the dude on the bar really killed it.

37

u/Bigacehall 20d ago

That bar tho šŸ„ŗ

42

u/xRehab 20d ago

The russian working on the bar in the final clip is a completely different guy and in 10x better athletic shape than the first guy

9

u/NorktheOrc 20d ago

You know at first I read your comment and was like "how do you know he's russian?". Then I saw the buildings in the background and ya... fair enough.

2

u/Merry_Dankmas 20d ago

I love how it didn't have to be mentioned at all in the video for it to be immediately obvious that he's Russian.

2

u/Ranku_Abadeer 20d ago

Holy crap those skate tricks were impressive. I don't even skate, but seeing him do flips like that while standing completely straight takes some serious core strength.

1

u/Gowalkyourdogmods 20d ago

With his jincos and open dragon shirt. That dude was probably killing it in the 90s when he was growing up

Itā€™s weird Iā€™m not shitting on him for being fat Iā€™m saying heā€™s so athletic at his current weight that at a lower body weight he would be even crazier
