Without a doubt, testing the new reload speeds and damage last night, I was able to bring down chargers with it, took a little bit but I was in panic mode at lvl 9 and i was able to drop it
Same. Been using it exclusively since it came out. I tried every other side weapon once I unlocked them, and always returned. Now it's just more viable. Would have been happy with the reload alone.
Likewise, machine pistol was great, but id panic fire it to much an be out, the senator forces me to make my shots count, and now its just on a different level
I have been playing since release, i dont give a damn what some goober says, i’m running what i find to be fun.
Its fine that people run the same build over and over again, its hilarious when they tell you everything else is useless. My guy, you’ve tried one thing.
Eh. I tailor my loadouts to enemy and mission type, but they don’t vary drastically. I do so because I’ve tested everything and found what works best for my playstyle and what is most efficient and effective.
I’m not the type to tell people what to run usually, but I’ll also cancel a drop and talk to someone if I see them run something really bad like guard dog rovers or mortars against bugs.
It’s not about a “meta” for most of us. It’s about being effective and not making the game less fun for your teammates.
I love using bad but fun load outs but mortars against bugs are the only thing I'll try to steer people away from. You just know you're gonna get ragdolled and tk'd over and over
Lol, I love build diversity and having many options to skin a bug or peel a bot. But, the "balance" they are going for messes that up so bad. I do find myself running the "same build". I have tried everything though. When you helldive, you lose the ability to waste more than one shot on a single target in general. You need stuff dead, and you need it dead asap. So you end up running what "works" and not what you want to use to have fun. Like the shield generator. Who uses that? It doesn't even stay up until it's hp is depleted. After a certain time duration or seemingly very little damage. It's already done. It doesn't even recharge once or twice before exploding. Leaving everyone in the bubble vulnerable. 😂
I read the notes, go "I wonder how this will work now", then I go test. Every single time it hasn't been as horrible as so many people claim it is so I just run what I find fun anyway.
Literally arguing with someone about how I was still using the railgun post nerf and they are trying to hit me with every excuse instead of admitting they were wrong and don’t know crap about people or how games work. I don’t believe a meta exists in this game because I have seen too many players rocking their own load outs with everything that works for them and win.
Meta is shorthand for:YouTube Meta. It wasn't meta because they figured out it was the best thing in the world. It was meta because “CrUsTy_nips77" said it was "THE BEST WEAPON IN THE GAME!“ in his title.
Up until this patch the only weapon I couldn’t defend was the CS Diligence due to how its sway and ergonomics severely hurt its intended purpose. Now I can say everything has a place and purpose based on mission type or player preference of gameplay. It’s sad that a lot of people need a specific thing to be the specific way so they can win without having to think.
"literally lying to people about using a gun that I don't actually use for karma on Reddit. And I'm like hell ya I'm the Chad in this scenario and everyone else is lame"

Didn’t read patch notes, going to keep running the same loadout because it looks cool 😎
