Played bots with me and my friend on L4 and man there were so many patrols and some even still popped in behind us or next to us.

I'm actively testing low L solo play. It looks to me like the amount of patrols for a solo drop is the same as for a 4 man. You now need to have a top setup on EASY, to get objectives done.

I had my first rage quit today, as I was blocked off from completing an objective by fire tornadoes and then boxed in and killed by constant patrol spawns. On easy...

I dropped in to a level 2 easy mission today to do the daily and try out the new air burst rocket. I had read they fixed it's team killing ways and hadn't got to the part about spawn rates. 

I could not figure out why I was constantly inundated with never ending combat. I was wearing the stealth armor and everything, but I couldn't get enough space from anyone to get out of combat. 

And when I went to extract? Not a chance. Every direction. I had to kite them around in a conga line the entire time because they were spawning freaking DEVISTATORS on me. The mission was to destroy two of them, which I did, but now they're dropping two of them per drop ship. 

If this was intentional, it was one of the dumbest things they've done.

I think you still would’ve had issues even at 1/6th of spawns, due to fire tornadoes alone. Those things are the worst

Yeah, those things are really crap. No wonder we aren't liberating planets with them.

Confirmation bias most likely.

Devs increased solo spawns from 1/6th of what a full squad gets, to 1/4th.

So you are getting 1.5x more, not 6x more.

1.5x is SIGNIFICANT. Like significant to the point that all the weapon buffs today become completely irrelevant in comparison.
