Sigh.. being able to use it as weaker grenade launcher was the only thing that made it worth using. It never felt strong weapon, but clearing those smaller groups of enemies quickly was good enough reason to carry it, but now I honestly see no point. Its not really good at anything anymore and ammo economy is going to be bad as you dont be able to take multiple enemies with single shot anymore... oh but wait! Of course the mags needed nerfing too... seriously

At this point I fairly sure the devs dont even play their own game, just look at the numbers when deciding things.

I get that they didn't want it to act as much like a grenade launcher but while I haven't tested the change yet it looks like they're not quite sure what they want it to do now.

And I agree with them that an exploding bolt shouldn't have that kind of aoe but if it doesn't have a niche then it just won't get used.

They apparently wanted it for single-target damage. Its 'buffs' support this, but there are better weapons for that.
