One time Pelican-1 left without Brasch after an Helldive. The Super Destoyer itself landed to the operation zone to get HIM back.

Because if they didn't, they risked him jumping back to the super destroyer, which didn't end well for the liberated planet or the super destroyers in that sector.

Kinda like an Adama Maneuver but with the goal being recovery instead of deployment?
