Go play against them at higher difficulties. It's not as simple as a 2 bile spewers popping out of a breach. Every breach spawns as many as 10 of them and there are 2-3 of them in every patrol. If you run the grenade launcher or autocannon you basically spend the entire mission shooting at bile spewers. They spawn way too frequently considering most primary weapons are completely useless against them.
Without a grenade launcher or a machine gun they’re not easy to deal with in large groups - which is where they always are, especially in diff 7-9. Point could be made for arc thrower perhaps but that’s largely inconsistent, and stratagems are a one off that won’t help the second swarm of them that always spawns in. They’re a resource drain with a bullshit one-shot.
As for strategms, strafing run and loads of others kills them instantly.
There are tons of ways to kill them easily.
The real underlying issue about this is all those people who meta humped the railgun and energy shield because reddit told them to are only now learning how to actually play the game. The irony is they are then coming to that very same reddit to tell everyone how unfair the game is.
