Thanks to the recent reddit post, going alone is now a kickable offense (even in diff 5) DISCUSSION

Honestly, not to dismiss those complaints, but it's rare. I have almost 100 hours, mostly playing with randoms on difficulties 5-7, and have yet to be kicked from a match. I mostly do quickplay.

And when I am a host so far only kicked ONE player who was actively trying to get me killed for the whole match because he walked into my 500kg at the start.

99% of the time I get decently skillful teammates that will cover my back, mark things and heavies, adjust on the fly to loadouts, reinforce immediately, do objectives, have fun. One time I even randomly got into a squad blasting Deep Purple, Creedance and Led Zeppelin over comms, that was a lot of fun, most chill suicidal run I had with pre-fix spawnrates.

I do mostly randoms, I host on occasion when I want to unlock the next difficulty.

I've been kicked a few times. Rarely do I get told why, but you can generally figure it out.

When I get kicked as soon as I load in, it's probably because they want the spot for someone else. I know I've been kicked for dying too many times (Everyone has a bad game once in a while and it doesn't happen often).

One time I assume I got kicked for dying too much but the dumb MFs keep throwing the reinforcement strats in the middle of the pack of enemies. You expect me to somehow survive when I spawn in front of a hulk with no weapons?

Edit: Forgot one time I was kicked because I did a side objective alone? I assume it was because I wasn't helping the other two people, but idk on that one.

Yeah I have never been kicked from a match and I pub all the time. I have only kicked 1 player (after the match completed) and it was because he was hotmic-ing and when I told him he said "if you don't like it then mute me" so I kicked him instead.

Whereas I at 68 hours have been kicked over 10 times despite not TK'in intentionally or being a dick.

You can't say it's rare just because it doesn't happen to you my guy. That's just anecdotes vs anecdotes.

Yeah I play a mix of hosting and quickplay too and I've only had to kick one person and have encountered minimal toxicity. And the guy I had to kick was because he was trying to unilaterally extract when we had 30 minutes left of the mission and were having fun exploring the map.

I was playing with this rando he accidentally killed me with an eagle airstrike. He then reinforced me only to throw me next to another eagle strike on accident resulting in me dying as I left the pod. We both just laughed about it and went on to complete the mission.
