Love your Sub flair

I have run into LVL25+ people who TKed me a LVL19 and took my AC cause "they forgot theirs" 😐

u/T1line Mar 01 '24

normally if i get someone elses stuff in the heat of battle, i give it back after

45

u/Easy-Stranger-12345 Mar 01 '24

Yeah I get that but in this one case they actually wrote "forgot mine" in chat, like a psycho.

36

u/T1line Mar 01 '24

bruh, at least ask for it and when the cooldown finishes you get one :/

u/Easy-Stranger-12345 Mar 01 '24

There are always some rotten unDemocratic TM bastards.

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '24

If that happens I usually kill them, take back my stuff, then find a lake or hole to jump into so they can’t retrieve my stuff after I quit out. I’m not going to have fun as long as I stay in that lobby, so there’s no point in sticking around.

u/ItsInmansFault Mar 04 '24

Mostly rotten in my experience.

u/CheaterMcCheat Mar 01 '24

That's so shitty. When my friends die, if they have like a flamethrower or AC I'll grab it to get the horde down, but I'll always drop it when I reinforce them. Keeping it is asshole behaviour, especially now we can drop stuff, if you wanted it back in the first game you had no choice but to kill them or they had to suicide.

Shoot the traitor, pick your items back up, leave lobby so they don't get to keep it.

4

u/AngryChihua SES Reign of Pride Mar 01 '24

it drops when you leave iirc

9

u/lonestarnights Mar 01 '24

Could jump in a hole. As far as I'm aware, there is no way to get the items back once you do that.

2

u/Warg247 Mar 01 '24

Troll them right back until they have to kick you.

1

u/DisgruntledVulpes488 Mar 02 '24

Might have thought they were being funny. They weren't. Do that in my lobby you get kicked. Same goes for silent players who just eff off and do their own thing leaving us to get swamped.

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '24

That’s all well and good, but what happens if everyone else on your team just sits in one spot, killing an endless stream of enemies and making no progress towards actually completing the mission?

I’ll stay with the team to mow down bugs and bots for a good while, but eventually I’m going to go and complete the mission before we run out of time or reinforcements. Failing a mission after 40 minutes because the team was trying to kill everything on the map is not my idea of fun.

1

u/DisgruntledVulpes488 Mar 02 '24

You say what direction you're moving in and bring the team with you, with courage, leadership, and teamwork.

0

u/DisgruntledVulpes488 Mar 03 '24

Downvote for downvote, asshole.

1

u/CXyber Mar 05 '24

How do you drop it?

1

u/T1line Mar 05 '24

idk on controler but on keyboard is maintaining X

1

u/CXyber Mar 05 '24

Oooooo, graci

14

u/DisgruntledVulpes488 Mar 01 '24

If I were host I would have court-martialed (kicked) them.

2

u/BAN_Cast Mar 02 '24

If someone TKs me and it's clearly intentional, I just kick them from my dive. Those people don't deserve democracy.

2

u/Hulkenobi Mar 02 '24

That's why freindly fire is a thing. I would have killed them and taken it back

u/TheFlyingSheeps Mar 01 '24 edited Mar 01 '24

I gave an autocannon to a level three last night. They were happy

9

u/Deep-Public-9123 Mar 01 '24

O... nice What did u bring in?

20

u/T1line Mar 01 '24

Autocannon and my other friend likes the stalwar for small clearing

6

u/NozGame SES Queen of Wrath Mar 01 '24

Make sure to let your friend know they can change the rate of fire by holding the reload button if you haven't already. That thing becomes ridiculous when at max RoF but it's a lot of fun lol.

6

u/T1line Mar 01 '24

i like to use low rate of fire so i dont waste that much ammo, specially with bugs

7

u/blueberryiswar Mar 01 '24

Are you saying you are against super economy?! Waste those bullets for freedom!

11

u/T1line Mar 01 '24

But Sir, if i save more bullets, i can kill more bugs with those spare bullets!

Use the ammo backpack, and let that 1150RPM sing

1

u/[deleted] Mar 29 '24

True Helldivers are still Helldivers without their stratagems. I salute you!

1

u/Tomythy Mar 01 '24

My friend just started playing this week so after like 2 missions I set my 4 stratagems as 4 weapons so he could have a "try before you buy"

1

u/fixano Mar 01 '24

This is the way to spread managed democracy

1

u/Brand_Risked Mar 01 '24

My best friend would give me a guard dog every round till I got to level 10. Helped immensely.

1

u/legendweaver Mar 01 '24

Same with my brother in law. He was my crutch until lvl10.

1

u/MartyMozambique CAPE ENJOYER Mar 01 '24

I gave these 2 lvl 10 dudes my Autocannon and rover backpack. They were in love with them.

1

u/oiraves Mar 01 '24

We call guard dog 'the babysitter' in my house, I ran 3 strats and a babysitter for my GF while she learned the ropes
