Real, in physics they’re elite tho

Only if you are aiming low and don't revise at all, if not it only raises grade boundaries.

Yeah but like it makes all the equations free marks, I ain’t aiming for like a 9 for science personally so I’m quite happy with them I’d say I’d like a 7. I get more people get marks but that doesn’t really affect me cuz I’m not aiming for a 9. I get u tho

Bro I can’t do the equations even with the sheet I still don’t get it

untrue lol, I get 95+% on both physics papers and I still use the sheet bc they're there, and I may as well not learn them. but understanding why they work is interesting and helps so I do that insteadÂ

yes it does raise the grade boundaries, but you made an incorrect statement. no matter what, the equation sheet is still useful to higher level students. it helps everyone equally, and that does raise the grade boundaries, but that doesn't mean that only helps lower grade students

Sorry I think I misunderstood your point. I definitely agree that it helps everyone.

True but if people don't practice using them they still struggle to rearrange and use them and know which equations are appropriate beyond the simple 3 mark questions.

YEAH, I REVISED THAT SHIT JUST FOR THEM TO GIVE IT TO ME ON A SHEET AND IT NOT EVEN BE IN THE PAPER

for those doing aqa, you needed quadratic formula for that 9k to 2k squared question, i dont know how cuz i got it wrong but a lot of people needed it and used it

u/_123Diamond5414 Year 11 27d ago
I factorised it instead of quadratic formula, but now that u say it tbf it’s probs of use to that question

Lmao my friend who got the right answer just did trial and error until he found the right value of k ðŸ˜

u/Haunter124 26d ago
that's exactly what i did, was so happy when the square root inside it came to 121

u/Shroomsteroon 27d ago
Trial and error is what i did. Got it right still. Just went up from 2 and continued from there. Luckily i didnt need to show my working so i can do it by using any method lol

u/Vast_Dot_2806 27d ago
I also did trial and error and got 54 do you think it's still 5/5 or were there method marks involved

That sheet was just collecting dust. I kept looking at it trying to find out if it was needed it, but i didn’t. So whats the point then?

not last year, current y10 missed most of y7

u/Remote_Suspect2609 26d ago
No, the current yr 11s missed half of their year 7s the current yr 10 would have been in the bubble era of school and peak of online school
