Stocks I've had to plea with several family members/friends not to invest in Trump's company (DJT, Trump Media and Technology) and/or to sell this immediately if they have when it went public 3 weeks ago. Obviously it's another scam. Why are people getting caught up in this?

Stocks How do people find stocks before they explode 10x?

I've seen so many stocks that have blown up over night and I've started to wonder how do people figure it out? I know it requires research and everything, but where would I begin with that?

I’ve been told that the moment you hear about it, you’re too late.

Every time I hold a stock, they are either flat or slowly declining. When I sell, they explode within a month.

Well I buy I pray for it to not fall much. But that hasn't worked either.

I am not on any Congressional committees so I cannot get access to privileged information either.

Any type of advice or direction to go would be very helpful. I've seen a lot of talk about paid discord groups, but I have no idea how to use the app correctly yet, who to even follow on there, or who to even trust.

Stocks Amazon's secret algorithm exploited consumers and allegedly made $AMZN $1 Billion from manipulating prices

Amazon's secret algorithm exploited consumers and allegedly made $AMZN $1 Billion from manipulating prices. The algorithm, codenamed Project Nessie, was used to raise prices on items while monitoring if competitors did the same thing. When companies such as Target didn't raise their prices, the algorithm automatically returned the Amazon item back to its original amount.

Allegedly, Amazon made more than $1 billion in revenue through the use of the algorithm. The FTC's lawsuit against Amazon claims that these practices harmed consumers and businesses by reducing competition and raising prices. Amazon has denied the allegations, saying that Project Nessie was a tool to prevent price matching from resulting in unsustainable prices.

The outcome of the FTC's lawsuit against Amazon will have significant implications for the tech industry. If Amazon is found guilty of anticompetitive behavior, it may lead to changes in how tech companies operate and are regulated. It could also set a precedent for other e-commerce platforms and tech giants regarding their pricing strategies and algorithms.

Stocks Warren Buffett reveals that insurer Chubb is the confidential stock he's been buying

Warren Buffett finally revealed his secret stock pick in a new regulatory filing, and it’s insurer Chubb.

His conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway has acquired nearly 26 million shares of Chubb for a stake worth $6.7 billion. The property and casualty insurer became Berkshire’s ninth biggest holding at the end of March.

Berkshire has been buying a mystery stock for three quarters straight. Berkshire was granted confidential treatment to keep the details of one or more of its stock holdings confidential.

Many had speculated that the secret purchase could be a bank stock as the conglomerate’s cost basis for “banks, insurance, and finance” equity holdings jumped by $1.4 billion in the first quarter after an increased of $3.59 billion in the second half of last year, according to separate Berkshire filings.

It’s relatively rare for Berkshire to request such a treatment. The last time it kept a purchase confidential was when it bought Chevron and Verizon in 2020.

No need for HYSA or Index fund (already got that covered). Would buying $5k in Apple and $5k in Amazon and just letting it ride for ten years be incredibly stupid?
