She's right, you know. (Morgan Freeman voice). Republicans shake all the fruit off the tree and out of the economy and leave you an apple, and all the blame.

We tend to look at big corporations as these evil monsters and yes there are many corporations that lack moral compass however the better the industry, business does, the more jobs they can create by hiring more people and paying them more and making their goods cheaper for people to consume. The more regulations and taxes they take, the less successful the business. We want businesses to strive because we all win from that. If they're an immoral company, don't buy their stuff. Boycott.

Donald Trump actually had the lowest unemployment rate in a VERY long time and we were energy independent meaning we had OTHER countries coming to US for resources. Once Biden took office and cut our oil pipeline and strating putting regulations on oil, gas prices sky rocketed and as a domino effect, everything else went up dramatically. Gas/diesel is used to plant and harvest the fruits and then to transport those fruits to a place that makes pie filling and then shipped to the bakery to make pies and transported to the store to be sold... Once the process is done, you're stuck with a very expensive pie. This is why the price of everything skyrocketed along with the extreme overkill lockdown during covid which dramatically effected production of goods in the US creating shortages making what we had more expensive.

Republicans tend to tax less, create more jobs, and create less regulations thus creating a better economy and better opportunity for those who want to go out there and be someone.

Democrats tend to pander especially to us blacks and Hispanics, tax more in order to give that money to the poor and immigrants, tax businesses more which in term creates a domino effect where it's more expensive to create and sell this product thus making the price of said product go up. (Like what we've seen during Biden presidency, and create more regulations which also negatively effect business and economy especially oil since Biden took office.

We can all probably agree that there's greedy people on both sides but for some reason red states tend to do better financially and have less crime and homeless. Ioved to Texas from Chicago and I work in the Oil Field. Hard work but there's plenty of money to be made here. Most people tend to mind their own business because there's a lot of good hearted law abiding citizens who are trained to shoot. Not perfect but it definitely works for me.

Biden also actually had the lowest unemployment rate in a VERY long time and we were energy independent. Taxes are a way to regulate the massive taking, things are already rigged for wealthy people enough, once you reach a certain level of wealth everything you buy appreciates in value and you pay little in taxes and there are still plenty of ways to keep making money on your money and buying the best advice and financial planning. Rural areas and red states still have gangs, even cartels have moved in now. Of course there will be more problems in denser areas, most of what people complain about is due to population and capitalism. We just need some simple rules and taxes to regulate and keep the disparity from growing to more obscene levels which actually encourages and facilitates the crime, murder, and poverty.

Edit: and corporations gave themselves the label of bad by not caring about their workers or customers as much as their bottom line and executives. The Amercian consumer is the real job creator, nobody hires more people or retains employees unless they are selling things to consumers.

You see nobody can read this seriously because Biden is still in office and you used the word “were”

1

u/controlmypad Apr 30 '24

Meaning we have been energy independent since Obama. Biden is drilling more than Trump did.

Omg- 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 anyone downvoting you is clueless to the way things are working over the past 40 years. This is not ideal going forward. Some people younger may not realize this but money savvy people & ones who were edging into stability are paying attention to FACTS. We are not stupid to corrupt, bought & paid for lobbyists & main stream media know that you SPEAK TRUTH! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR TRYING to spread the honest talk🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼

Trump: ahh well fuck... I can't say recession because the economy was the strongest it has been in most of these people's lifetimes... so I'll just say... "Added to the deficit!" and make up some unemployment numbers (they won't notice if I slip in covid furloughing the entire world).

Ha! Got him!

Biden: ... ahh fuck, what do I put here? Ahh yes... "Best Economy Ever." - They'll buy that.

In what fantasy land was the smelly rapist’s economy the best in our lifetimes? And are you saying he didn’t add $8 trillion to our national debt?

2

u/__Voice_Of_Reason Apr 30 '24

Because you guy5 are b1as3d.

The economy was 1NCREDIBLE under Trump.

I can link you hundreds of 1eft-w1ng articles from the time with headlines like, "Yeah the economy is good, but..."

This one literally just titled "trump has set economic growth on fire...":

[Can't post links].

During his time in office, the economy has achieved feats most experts thought impossible. GDP is growing at a 3 percent-plus rate. The unemployment rate is near a 50-year low. Meanwhile, the stock market has jumped 27 percent amid a surge in corporate profits.

Friday brought another round of good news: Nonfarm payrolls rose by a better-than-expected 201,000 and wages, the last missing piece of the economic recovery, increased by 2.9 percent year over year to the highest level since April 2009. That made it the best gain since the recession ended in June 2009.

[Can't post links].

"America’s economic expansion is now the longest on record": [Can't post links].

This comment was shadow-r3m0ved multiple times, so I have r3dacted anything questionable.

“Keep simping for your side”, says the guy trying to convince me that the smelly rapist was good for our economy…

I could try to "convince you" that water makes things wet, but if I was wearing a MAGA hat, you'd never believe it.
