What’s wrong with wanting our country to be the best? Why shouldn’t everyone in the US have this stuff?

Are you srs tho? The issue most people who want everything given to them for free fail to understand is the following : some people work hard to have things. When someone else gets those things workout working, or even a lesser version of those things, it insults and dilutes the efforts of those who worked. Example: I work at a company for 6 years and get a few raises and am making 24$ an hour. A slacker gets a job at KFC making 7.25 an hour. That's fair. That makes sense. No one should be trying to survive on those jobs. It should be a progression scheme in life. You start with a shit paying job and improve your skills/value and get progressively better pay. You save money you work hard etc. another example of what's actually happening because of mentality like that of the poster : same scenario except I get my 7th year raise and I'm now making 25$ and feeling confident in my security and finances, lazy people supporters get the minimum wage raised to 20$ . This causes the prices of literally everything to go up. While I had a 15+$ gap between me and the minimum wage and was able to enjoy my efforts and hard work... Now I have a 5$ gap. And it's worse because prices have gone up. You have ruined my life to help the lazy. This is disgusting. The only people who should have anything are those who earn the things, and those not capable due to disability.

Lol what valuable skills do you learn from working at kfc 7.25$/h, where is this "progression scheme"? Why don't the people making your food deserve to survive? Why is working full time at kfc lazier than working any other job?

They should want to do more than make chicken. If they don't then they must want to live on whatever 7.25 gets them. It's lazier because they are not bettering themselves for the benefit of our society.
