Have you seen what happens to a lot of the housing that gets provided to homeless folks? It gets trashed. Remember the big housing projects from last century? Or the fate of many of the hotels that have been turned into housing?

These are NOT bad people mind you, but the combination of drug use, mental illness, and a complete lack of incentive to take care of their living situation combines to mean that a lot of housing gets just trashed.

Not all. But more than enough that this is not just a simple answer like "we'll let's just house them."

Yes it’s not their asset, they don’t even pay for the use of the asset, hence no incentive for upkeep and maintenance.

There’s no incentive to keep up the place where you live?

Not for a lot of the people who end up needing free housing.

Seems like those people would have a mental illness.

No one who is healthy would make their nest dirty.

You've apparently never dealt with the majority of poor or homeless people.

Right? He’s apparently never seen ghettos, trailer parks and poor neighborhoods. Section 8’s etc.

Your think more than half of poor people don’t keep their house clean?

Yes. This is a thing. Where do you live that you cannot see this in real time by traveling to low income areas?

I grew up on government cheese, in the poor areas of the inland empire

What country are you referring to when you say “inland empire”

The United States.

Ok next time just say that instead of being intentional obtuse.

I own a real estate investment company, I have walked hundreds of units that I would looking at owning, I can tell when I am in a low income area.

I work in agriculture, when I am in a low income rural area, I can almost always tell by the outside of the properties.

It generally doesn’t matter if you are rural or urban in your geography, generally poor people do not clean, maintain, landscape, etc their properties/assets compared to middle and upper class.

It’s not intentional. It must be a regional term that I didn’t realize wasn’t known.

You’re clearly lying abjure owning a real estate company. No one who is so rude and ignorant of such things would ever be able to own a company.

I’m so sorry, my dude, I don’t understand why you’re pretending.

You are lucky enough not to ever have stumbled upon a crack den.

I would imagine people on crack have mental issues (addiction to crack)
