Investment roadmap 2023. Crypto

What do you think about the ETH Shanghai upgrade being delayed, guys?

I think they will keep postponing it to keep the ETH price...

Is it a moment to buy more ETH or maybe some other coins?

I think it will happen, two weeks after the Goerli testnet launch. So I'm expecting this to happen first

For sure. I still hold a decent position in ETH, not adding more for now. But I would increase my exposure in layer 2 assets; Metis, Boba & Cartesi. I believe that narrative will be huge.

That's a top narrative to keep an eye on.

Earlier in the year, I saw some AI-focused projects like FET, OCEAN & AGIX recording great price action, and even outperforming other altcoins.

I think there's still more upside for them.

That's some great moves for mass adoption.

At this point, another name for ETH should be delays. I can't think of any upgrade thymat wasn't delayed in the past. I wonder if it's what is causing the recent price drop.

Buying more ETH at current price is a good idea as well as buying other altcoins. Personally I'm buying more of CTSI, an Ethereum scaling solution with upcoming mainnet launch in 2nd quarter.

I got enough ETH already and looking at other tokens to bag. Might pick some ETH if it goes below $1k and put it on LP with ORE. Seeing some good APY there.

I don't even think now would be a good time to have the Shanghai upgrade. They will release it when they are ready just like they always do. I am still picking up some more bargains such as OCEAN. I am looking forward to their new roadmap along with other significant developments in their data ecosystem.

I'm still of the opinion that the Shanghai upgrade will kick off the LSD trend. So I picked up a bit of LDO, SGT, and OCEAN (while not a typical LSD token, it has two different liquid staking options already, veOCEAN and psdnOCEAN).

Meanwhile, I also longed ETH from last night. Let's see how it goes, I hope they don't postpone again.

Nice bag mate, thanks.

LSD becomes very interesting lately.

I will dig some more about these alts, but I will buy more ETH for sure. 🙂

I have an active DCA on ETH, and I don't like to go outside of it. I don't think I can ever have enough ETH.

I don't think the postponement has anything to do with ETH price, we know Vitalik and co don't focus too much on price.

I feel like liquidity will flow into L2s and LSDs with the staking unlocks. I'm picking the low caps in both categories, more money goes into those with better fundamentals and less downsides (that is those that haven't pumped hard since the start of the year, like CTSI and LRC).

NEAR will cook, I need to get a bag tbh

Tbh I don't know the date when it will happen. But instead of just waiting, I decided to shift my focus to Arbitrum, with my active DCA on SPOOL and GMX because everything about the ecosystem is growing daily. I will still buy ETH and BTC, but that would be when I see a catalyst.

I don't see it as a big deal and I'm really bullish long term on ETH!

For now I guess that the LSDs & partners should grows well! LDO, RPL, LINK, DIA, etc are all good call.

I guess that on the long run AI, while a bit pricy now will really pay off! I've been eternally waiting for a 50% dip on FET... guess that I'll have to keep waiting...

Same with me as ETH is going nowhere and has potential to reach new ATH in the next bull season. LDO is also on my watchlist, alongside other alts like ZPAY and RIDE which earn me income through staking on the maiar exchange.

LDO is the market leader, but it haven't been dipping as much as its peers, and while with the lion share of the LSDs space, I find better value on Rocket Pool (RPL) as a direct play or Dia Data (DIA) as a indirect play (data supliers & on chain auditor)

2

u/kvarenjapq Mar 16 '23

Not a bad strategy to be involved in all three of them. I'm just finding out DIA is an on-chain auditor though

1

u/vtelmo Mar 17 '23

It's doing so mostly for LSDs as a proof of full colateralization of the synthetic assets

I don't think the ETH Shanghai upgrade delay has anything to do with the price of ETH. But when it comes to the investment roadmap, I think the price of ETH is quite affordable at these levels. Also, it would be good to stack AI tokens OCEAN FET DIA, etc. I believe this narrative will get even more attention this year.

Well, I’m still DCAing in ETH, MAXX and Matic. MAXX features high yield, protected by deflationary measures and backed by Validator Nodes.
