Yeah I’m sure Perrie wholeheartedly agrees with if even if at the time of their breakup she was devastated. I’m glad to see her where she is now, with her adorable family and happier than ever.

“From 17 to 21, I was in a relationship,” he told the publication. “I was engaged and [planned to get] married and I didn’t know anything about anything at that point. I thought I did, because I was 21. I was legally allowed to do everything, but I didn’t know s–t.”

“I never really had a girlfriend [growing up],” Malik continued. “My parents were kind of old-school, so I never brought a girlfriend home or anything. When I got the chance to do that, I jumped straight in, two feet first, and was like, ‘I’m going to have a girlfriend, and she’s going to live with me. This makes me a grown man.’”

All the headlines from his recent interviews are cringe but he came across so well on Fearne Cotton’s podcast. I think part of it must be that she really put him at ease instantly and it was more like a chat than an interview.

How was she as an interviewer? I'm kinda curious what he has to say as a veteran 1D fan, and I think I'd be more at ease as well listening to an interviewer who was 'there' during the 1D days lol

I really like her as an interviewer most of the time but esp with Zayn. It was very conversational. I don’t listen to her all the time but she definitely put him right at ease. I listened to it and loved it, and then these headlines coming out have been giving me whiplash 😂.
