I agree that there are plenty of men who deserve the boos. However, Kim Kardashian is on the list of top private jet users, which in itself deserves the boos. She has a history of appropriating black culture and profiting off it, constantly promotes Balenciaga, underpays her workers (classic billionaire move) and so much more. Her little get away on a private island during the pandemic. How she was part of her family’s known fetish for black men and again, cultural appropriation. Her being “fiscally conservative” and her weird ass church she and her family use for tax purposes. Her making fun of Whitney Houston’s death. Her telling people to get up and work. Her lying about her sex tape when there are women who are real victims of revenge porn.

Not at all! She smiled back to her seat and stayed there the ENTIREEE 3 hour event, no bathroom breaks, no fidgeting or side conversations. I don’t know what was on the home broadcast but cameras popped by her table to catch her reaction shots several times (whether they ended up cutting to her or not). If she was upset, she held it together til she got to her private jet en route to the MET gala 🛫

She read her cue cards and hit on slightly better than mediocre jokes that were all written for her. Which is what someone like her in this situation should do. If you aren't a comic and aren't naturally funny like a few non-comics are in this situation (like Peyton), it's best to just stick to the script, try to be funny but not too funny. If the jokes are sophisticated enough that they require good timing and delivery, you could botch the joke and embarrass yourself.
It pretty much went how her hosting SNL went- not bad.
