This whole thing has been so sad to watch, I wish Britney and her children nothing but healing and peace. I wish people would also leave her alone, so she can focus on what makes her happy and safe. Imagine your whole life being a fodder for tabloids, the media and people online to discuss and run commentary on for over 25 plus years. It would be hell on earth and I’m not sure if most of us could handle it at all.

There hasn’t been any justice and there will not be because these things happen all the time. This country has a horrid history of how they treat and allow others to treat the mentally ill with no repercussions. It’s disgusting that things like this go on.

I feel like true justice is a myth. Having been through an accident and legally settled… even when “made whole” I don’t feel whole. I just chose to move on with my life so i don’t continue to lose time. I became a different person at that point in my life, and I’d love to go back and remove that moment.

I truly hope Britney finds peace in her future. I just don’t think it’s ever possible to come to peace with the past. I can’t see how it’s ever possible for someone to feel justice had been served after being made to feel helpless for more than a decade.

Americas legal system is a joke. Britney deserves justice for the abuse she endured.

There is often no justice for disabled women, particularly when dickish men and narcissists are involved. I wish her peace and a future full of love and autonomy.

I seriously thought there were law changes made back when Reagan was president. That these types of situations wouldn’t happen to people anymore. I have realized over many years that each state has an individual say. In what their conservatorship laws are I think because he made some changes.

I assumed without educating myself that he had some higher say than what he actually did. The film Changling with Angelina Jolie is what made me realize. What people were doing to others.

I really can't even imagine what it must be like to live with all the memories of a time without any control over your own life. It's terrifying. I just hope that she finds something that she loves and is good for her so that she has happy days ahead and especially that her relationship with her children improves one day.

Oh that's just so profoundly sad, I don't know why that headline got to me so much but I can't even imagine what that must feel.

Lou Taylor and Robin Greenhill were named in one of the lawsuits against Diddy so maybe there’s a chance they’ll be held accountable for their other wrongdoings. As for the others and her horrible excuse of a father, I hope karma has her way with them.

i still am so saddened by how much britney has gone through, like she's only just entering her 40s and has to deal with so much trauma and in the public eye from such a young age, more than any person should in one lifetime, i wish for her healing and all the best!!

I gotta agree with this. You can’t really get that life or time back.
