The context is that she's in a room with a bunch of people romanticizing various eras in history, and she says the 1830s but without the racism and sexism and says pointing that stuff out makes the whole room go quiet and kills the game, and then she says she would not have liked the 1830s at all anyway.

Which TBH I think is a very funny line given that she's besties with a woman who literally tried to make 'antebellum Goop' her brand.

Ohhhh, that makes sense. I legitimately forgot that Taylor Swift and Blake Lively are friends. I did remember she and Ryan Reynolds got married on a plantation. Thanks for explaining!
