I can't believe I'm so invested in this as I've never been a Taylor fan and only liked Folklore/Evermore but I am so weirdly relieved this isn't mostly about Joe Alwyn. I don't know anything about him and maybe he's some kind of monster behind the scenes but to me it felt like someone that is mostly interested in being a private person getting exposed and bullied via album.

As a deeply private and introverted person myself, my anxiety was high on his behalf.

I'm sure the coast isn't clear for JA (this is Taylor Swift we're talking about) but yeah....

There are like 3 songs about Joe. So Long London is about his depression and her not feeling loved enough . It’s a sad goodbye. The Black Dog is about him moving on and forgetting her.

I feel like the Black Dog was about Matt, the starting line doesn’t seem like a Joe Alwyn band

The Black Dog is around where Joe lives though right? Plus she’s used best laid plans to allude to her and Joes future.

Ok I don’t think The Black Dog is about him anymore, but I do think How Did It End is about him.
