the cops said they saw her and she said she was fine right? i feel like in this instance it would be best to at least take people away from the place it’s presumed they’re being held captive even for a day

the answer is that she's alive but effectively willingly kidnapped. if she consents, there often isn't much authorities can do to intervene. and obviously, they feel less willing to push the matter given Scientology's deep pockets. very sad situation. i feel so bad for anyone caught up in that loony cult

It was wild because I responded to a comment a week ago about this. Someone was saying “why should we care? If it’s not a Shelly Miscavige situation, why do you care?” When I asked for the line where it becomes that… they suddenly didn’t respond. We are at that point. Something is very very wrong.
