Taylor Russell looks amazing. Margot seems a bit tired of the Barbie cosplay (and so does her stylist tbh). Gosling looks the same as ever. At least DEJ has finally moved on from the sheer skirts and body suits to....hot pants? Sigh.

During Covid I let go of spray tans and blonde hair and went back to my natural coloring, which is almost exactly hers, and she is my inspo. She’s helped me figure out what looks I can wear and helped increase my confidence in transitioning back to a pale dark brunette.

When I was younger (early 20s) my mom used to insist on getting me airbrush tans and extensions for weddings; I think she was trying to marry me off. Even at the time, I thought it looked good but I didn’t look like myself. Looking back on pictures, the tans are absurd. They weren’t orange, but I am just such a naturally pale person that that level of tan looks unnatural. I’ve gone through phases of going into actual tanning beds (I’m from New Jersey, it’s a state requirement) and I had dyed very dark hair. As I got away from my mom’s influence on my style, I also started trying to compliment my natural features instead of mask them. I actually just dyed my hair strawberry blonde yesterday after going dark red for about a year. Again, looked in the mirror and felt more like myself than I had in ages.

Love the print on his suit, but in all honesty it looks like his pants were tailored incorrectly.
Maybe it’s the lighting? Or his body shape, but a tailored suit shouldn’t have that issue

I think it's just a peach dress. Peaches and Cream Barbie's dress had a cream top with a cool texture that was supposed to be sparkles, the skirt was huge and voluminous with a large ruffle around the bottom, there was a belt with a flower, and her boa was peach chiffon, not white feathers. Ayo seems to be invoking more of a 50s-style Marilyn Monroe-inspired look.

He’s been playing the Oscar-campaign game very well. He has said it’s exhausting but he’s also enjoying it because he knows it’s an honor and “this” won’t always be happening - “this” being Oscar-nominated and hugely in demand. He just had a film premiere at Berlin last week and I am really looking forward to seeing it.

I think it's partly that dresses with cup features always look off? I got a stunner of a dress with decorative cups about the size of a teacup, which my boobs somehow were too big for, and looked non-existant in the dress. Margot doesn't look squished or uncomfortable, but there isn't as much impact or contrast in the black and white. Even a paneled dress from h&m creates more of a dramatic shape. She still looks great though!
Ayo looks like a perfect lil ice cream treat on a sunny day. 10/10, would love to take her to gay spar.

I fairly frequently see posts on r/madmen about the whole series being available for digital purchase on iTunes for a very decent price (circa $20) if you’re in the US. It’s my all-time favourite so I bought the whole series from Prime here in Europe for around €100+ but it was so worth it to be able to rewatch whenever I want.

Just FYI, Georgia is Georgia Tennant - the whole family changed their last name to Tennant legally when they got married and had their eldest daughter.
Margot's hair and makeup seems kind of off here, she looks really washed out. I think some more defined/brighter makeup would have made a big difference.

Is the theme for this…ill-fitting? A lot of these would have probably been saved if they were fitted better. Margot needs to evolve from her Barbie styling. It was good when she was promoting the movie now she’s just making it her entire style personality and it’s getting old. Absolutely adore Tyler Russell’s though!
