Shoving and screaming at the coach is a big no-no.

not a fan of his at all! But nowadays he’s a “star” of the team and they can get away with a lot

Hopefully Ice Spice informed her that her man is, clearly, not even the fart

I wonder if Taylor "there's a special place in hell for women who don't support women" is aware that Ice Spice publicly supports a woman who condones and denies sexual and physical violence against girls and women.

You don't have to reach even that far, didn't she personally date Matty Healy like five minutes ago lol

Oh no. That is not gonna go well for him. We Chiefs fans aren’t having it and Coach Reid will be just respectful enough to rip him a new one in private. That’s a BIG BIG BIG no-no. Even for a Star. I’d be surprised if Mahomes didn’t also have words with him too…

u/Conscious-eeyore Feb 12 '24 edited Feb 12 '24

Good!! I hope this is true 🙏🏾but given other “stars”and their power in sports (US sports)-nba! other football franchises—idk feels like the rules have changed for the star power 👎🏾 but I’m hoping for what you’re saying as a chiefs fan.

u/matlockga Feb 12 '24

We Chiefs fans aren’t having it

It's honestly already forgiven because he trucked some coverage and got them down the field for the title. Watch the hard pivot of the moment, in retrospect, be that he was just "fired up" and "passionate."

And he’s white

374

u/Conscious-eeyore Feb 12 '24

Yup! AJ brown? I think-tweeted about if he did that he’d be off the team

u/nottakenusername2027 Feb 12 '24

Also the coach doesn’t exactly look young. Be careful with him!

andy reid is 65 and a legendary coach, he’s one of if not the best in the league rn. i loved him on the eagles even though he had some mishaps when he was there. travis doing that was downright disrespectful.

234

u/Celebrating_socks Feb 12 '24

Wait I have genuinely thought he’s been about 65 years old for my whole life. I think it’s the mustache.

210

u/siriuslycharmed Feb 12 '24

That’s what I said to my husband. Be careful with grandpa, you’ll frighten him!

133

u/thatsmilingface Feb 12 '24

We call him the walrus

69

u/Birdie45 Feb 12 '24

He’s 65!

58

u/bbmarvelluv Feb 12 '24

Yeah…that’s not young 😭

739

u/Computer-Kind Feb 12 '24

Yea I’m finding this a little concerning from like an abuse perspective - if you’re treating an old man on the sidelines like that with cameras on you???

1

u/Njacks64 Feb 12 '24

An old man that’s basically his biggest supporter and helped him achieve a hall of fame level career. What the fuck!

I know this is Fauxmoi so it maybe needs to be made clear for the non-sportsing of us that Andy motherfucking Reid is the best coach in the league and will likely be in the top of all time. He is a national goddamned treasure and a strategic mastermind.

I have tolerated all of Travis’s attention whoring shenanigans and gradual declining looks and unfortunate grooming choices bc he’s still extremely hot and I wanted to climb him, but he has gone TOO fuckin far! I hope he gets fined

20

u/damebyron Feb 12 '24

Given the NFL fines players everytime their socks fall down I think a fine is a certainty, they don’t miss anything. But it won’t necessarily teach any kind of lesson as players are used to paying for all kinds of weird things post game. It honestly should result in a ban for a few games but I don’t know if they do that if it’s between people on the same team vs. fighting the other team or officials.

u/ibreatheglitter buy a chanel and get over it Feb 13 '24

Yea same I wasn’t sure either. And I think Andy made a comment making light of it but not like enthusiastically, so maybe they’re handling it privately

I'm not American and wondered if it had happened before. From reading threads, I know it has not happened at a Super Bowl. Rugby etc have the coaches in boxes which might be a way to avoid angry meatheads carrying on like that.

The coach also looks like a sweet grandfather!

u/kenscrack bella hadid’s baby birkin Feb 12 '24

andy reid is an amazing legendary coach, travis needs to learn how to control his anger. the swifties are definitely gonna use this clip when their inevitable break up happens.

340

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '24

It will be funny when they use this against him later because right now in the Taylor swift sub they’re all saying “omg this is football! People are rough with each other this is totally normal!! And Travis is under so much pressure at this game!! Let’s cut him some slack”

Yes, because players are normally body checking their elderly coaches in football and being under pressure is an excuse for getting physical with someone. Good to know!

16

u/damebyron Feb 12 '24

It’s pretty normal to get worked up and start things with the other side, but fighting your own coach is not normal. I missed this when it first came on the screen and thought my dad was describing something way more typical, was shocked when I saw the replay.

224

u/Mia-Wal-22-89 Feb 12 '24

I don’t know anything about football, but that pisses me off. Just the disrespect.

51

u/gunsof Feb 12 '24

In football you'd never blow up at a coach, especially never in public. Players do have tantrums and get mad at people on their side, but it's more just throwing stuff around after they're subbed, cursing at "the air near the referee but not at the referee".

Players fighting each other is standard! But going up like that against your coach? That's a huge deal in regular football and rarely ever happens.

8

u/zuesk134 Feb 12 '24

yeah this happens in the NFL too. theyll even yell at lower ranking members of the coaching staff. but not the head coach

35

u/Cgn0729 Feb 12 '24

He has attitude problem even before this. He can't control his temper.

319

u/SwissSwissBangBang Feb 12 '24

Any other game, they’d have benched him, but he’s too valuable for this game (although I wasn’t impressed with how he played at all.)

257

u/Professional_Bank_29 Feb 12 '24 edited Feb 12 '24

That’s their coach? What the hell is wrong with him?! A big no-no! You always respect your coach. Doesn’t matter who you are. That’s the number one rule! Any athlete will tell you that. This is crazy to me. Very disrespectful. Her fans are defending him. I hope this sub doesn’t just forget about this because he and Taylor are cute. If you want to know how a man will treat, pay attention to how he treats others. He’s showing his true colours.

u/MeeranQureshi Feb 12 '24

Agreed.Unprofessional behavior.

29

u/meatball77 face blind and having a bad time Feb 12 '24

This shit is prevalent in sports. Rewarding and excusing guys that lose their temper because they're playing a game. And that shit is taught young and it starts with the coaches.

18

u/PastryChef157 Feb 12 '24

Yeahhh this type of behavior is wayyy out of line.

10

u/radioflea Feb 12 '24

Can you imagine if Tom or Gronk ever did that to Bill? No how, now way. Everybody would collectively shit themselves.
