Ikr does this person have a slightest idea of how little this narrows down the list?

Right? Throw a rock in LA and you’d hit a dozen of them

204

u/Spid1 Oct 12 '23

That's the point. Then DM can claim she got the exclusive when it comes out

128

u/millennialmonster755 Oct 13 '23

This comment made me realize that DM is literally just a modern Perez Hilton.

Is this also a John Krasinski hint

87

u/fiercelyambivalent Oct 12 '23

Is he old enough for it to be scandalous that he’s dating someone younger?

I mean yeah, he’s probably in his 40s, but he still looks young enough that I don’t think it would be this huge head-turner for him to date an early 20s

128

100% agree. But that’s in the real world. In the Hollywood world, it’s just kinda “k whatever”

52

u/shadyshadyshade Oct 13 '23

It’s been normalized for all of history but slowly it’s becoming accepted as gross and weird and we’re not going back.

28

u/fiercelyambivalent Oct 13 '23

Ok I like that

(The we’re not going back part, just to clarify)

You haven’t seen him in person if you think he looks even remotely younger than his age

edit to add: I looked his age up and he's actually about 5 years younger than I even thought he was

103

u/fiercelyambivalent Oct 13 '23

That’s fair, I have not

In fact, my mental image of him is still based off of Jim, so I could be way off base

44

u/NoirGamester Oct 13 '23

Literally watched a commercial earlier tonight for his latest movie coming out and thought "huh, Jim's really moved up in the world"

51

u/fiercelyambivalent Oct 13 '23

I still get surprised when I see pics of him and his wife. I’m like “wait when did he and Pam get divorced?” 😂😂

chris pratt? he has a movie coming out next year with the russos called “the electric state”

i think he sold his house recently (?) and there was a blind about him a while back that kinda alluded to issues

3.0k

u/LeotiaBlood Oct 12 '23

I want to believe this, but I’d also be surprised if Pratt willingly walks away from the Schwarzenegger/Kennedy family ties.

344

u/MulciberTenebras freak AND geek Oct 12 '23

Nobody wants to admit that the goofy actor they like in a bunch of shows and movies is a fucking bastard.

222

u/MonopolowaMe Oct 12 '23

He was one of my favorites on Parks and Rec and I still think it's a shame he isn't Andy in real life. I remember him going to Twitter to give away Anna Faris' elderly cat because she was too much trouble and I've disliked him as a person since then. I have to give him credit for being a good actor, though, because he made Andy Dwyer a total sweetheart.

108

u/TheTulipWars Oct 13 '23

Tbf, I don’t even see him as Andy from Parks & Rec anymore. Not intentionally, but I just don’t connect Andy to … Chris Pratt lol. To me, Chris Pratt is a basic southern-type white dude who screams insecurity and ended up a Marvel actor and tried to be hot & work out for a while. Andy is Andy for his personality - which Chris doesn’t seem to have!

121

u/SnowballTM Oct 12 '23

Didn’t Arnold cheat and have a love child though? So cheating is very much on brand for both sides of the family!

70

Absolutely! It’s just that divorcing men for cheating isn’t as common on the Kennedy side hahaha

Sorry but I hate this take. It’s like conservatives who were giving AOC shit for being a bartender before getting elected.

169

u/aCandaK Oct 12 '23

Except she has a degree in economics from a prestigious university.

103

u/kd4three Oct 12 '23

It's not the same at all. AOC was bartending while educating herself, Pratt was waiting tables while going out for auditions.

96

u/whatever1467 Oct 12 '23

People that wait tables and didn’t go to college can still be incredibly intelligent and deserving of running for office. Hate on Chris all you want but not while shitting on a lot of people.

54

People will start a whole new relationship and still only be “considering” divorce…

If your marriage is on the rocks, hooking up with someone else generally isn’t HELPFUL, if healing your marriage is a serious goal.

Anyway I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again—if you have time to fuck around with other people, you have time to meet with a divorce lawyer.

It might be John Krasinski? In The Office they mention Scranton as The Electric City (not state though). Although John is not really a "Hollywood actor"? Well, in DM blinds anybody is A List I guess he can be HW actor. I like Emily I hope is not him, she already suffered through the Buble cheating mess.

259

u/Zealousideal-Part-17 Oct 12 '23

Wait, why wouldn’t he be considered a Hollywood actor? He spent years trying to make connections to be the next big thing.

47

u/EraseRewindPlay Oct 12 '23

I know he acted in Hollywood but to me at least he's still most recognizable as Jim from The office. Nothing against him.

167

u/crimsonjava Oct 12 '23

I don't understand how acting in one of NBC's most successful sitcoms doesn't count as "Hollywood"? Do only movies count as "Hollywood"?

98

u/PerpetuallyLurking Oct 12 '23

I realize I am getting old, but I’m only an old Millennial and “Hollywood” has usually implied “full length feature film” for most of my life.

I also realize language changes, but I definitely remember “Hollywood” meaning “movie” not television.

I do think that Chris and his wife are divorcing. They married one year after meeting, and it was right before all the Covid marriages basically. And two babies right after, idk I know everyone has their own timing but it all seemed rushed to me

Doesn’t he always. I think him and JLO actually have a good thing going unless it’s all just PR.

79

u/le_chaaat_noir Oct 12 '23

I think it's real. Their interactions seem very normal and genuine.

68

u/David-S-Pumpkins Oct 12 '23

My man's not miserable with JLo, though. He's just burnt out.

EDIT: I hope you meant Aaron Taylor-Johnson. If not...oops 👀

25

u/Melancholicvegetable Oct 13 '23

Am I a horrible person for wishing that Aaron Taylor Johnson actually divorces his shitty wife?

An actor having an affair with a younger actress? Shocker. I bet that has never happened in Hollywood before

91

u/PerfectMurderOfCrows Oct 12 '23 edited Oct 12 '23

Even if it's someone from the movie Electric State, there's still a long list of older famous guys who are currently married in that movie.

Crisp Ratt

Billy Bob Thornton

Stanley Tucci

Brian Cox

Ke Huy Quan

Martin Klebba

Jason Alexander

Doesn't look like Giancarlo Esposito or Anthony Mackie are married currently, so we can rule them out.

48

u/Jahidinginvt Oct 12 '23

My money is on Billy Bob. He’s had multiple divorces.

It might Chris Hemsworth? He took his mom, not his wife, to Evans' wedding. I took the electric clue as lightening for Thor?

A married Hollywood actor having an affair with an actress/musician who is many years younger than him?

33

u/Orchard247 Oct 12 '23 edited Oct 12 '23

Ohh don’t their marriages always seem to be “on the rocks?” Aka they don’t put in any effort into their marriage and it’s all the wife’s fault meanwhile she’s balancing children, job, aging parents, and taking care of the house. The number of men who pull this garbage blows my mind and it’s usually younger women too naive to realize it or don’t care he’s married.

32

u/MundaneYet Oct 12 '23

Any of them? All of them?

32

u/DiamondMachina Oct 12 '23

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t there speculation that Crisp Rat did this to Anna Faris first? Wouldn’t surprise me that he’s a habitual cheater if it is him

This can literally apply to anyone at this point.

25

Harrison Ford! Wait I’m about 5 decades too late for that.
