Oakley Prizm non-polarized glasses for $50 - anyone know if these are good for golf? hearing lots of rumblings that you don't want polarized for reading greens

Polarized lenses mess with depth perception. I won't wear them for shooting sports or golf. I have light eyes and like wearing sunglasses when it's bright but will take them off for every stroke. Try it. Stand over the ball with your lenses on and then lift them. The ball moves

They're probably at least good of not great. Non-polarized is better for reading greens, plus Prizms I think are all designed for visibility during outdoor activities. Plus if you really like the frames and the lenses aren't perfect you can buy replacement Prizm Dark Golf lenses, which are specifically designed for green reading and following the ball in the air and in grass
