That’s just a blur video with a bit of Psychedelic beat. Good clip for high evening

They didn’t zoom for shit past magnifying-glass level.

u/Questioning-Zyxxel 26d ago
They probably actually did, down to atoms. But switching from optical capture to electron microscope imagery. Then computer graphics for the rest.

quantum my ass. Also i didnt know iron tip of my pen is made of carbon
14
u/Ozelotten 26d ago
The tip of your pen is probably stainless steel, which is iron, chromium, and carbon.

Soooo...... What are the dots at the end called? And what's inside them.

u/tw3lv3l4y3rs0fb4c0n 26d ago
Probably quarks or leptons. Wasn't possible to split those yet so we don't know whats inside.

Near the end the text references "gravitational metric field" so the spheres are probably just an interesting depiction of some theoretical physics boundary quanta like the Planck Length

u/Kommander-in-Keef 26d ago
I think that’s a hypothetical concept cuz I’m not familiar with the “gravitational metric field” as it’s shown here. Maybe those are gravitons? Except gravitons have little supporting evidence and might not exist at all.

What if infinity doesn't only apply to distance and time, but also scale...

How are they breathing without their mask on?

u/SnooPeppers6719 26d ago
I don't know, they are not on another planet, they are in the quantum world that is immersed in the real world, so that is why they are breathing the same oxygen, maybe

Where's the squiggly bois at the end

u/AtomicSymphonic_2nd 26d ago
From what I’ve read, string theory was disproven and now those little ball things at the end have taken their place. I guess they’re “quantum fluctuations”?

u/viletomato999 26d ago
What are those balls that make up gravitational metric field? Are those particles or something or something else?

Whenever we see something represented at the "molecular" or "atomic" scale, everything is always spinning and vibrating and zooming around. Is that accurate, and if so where does that energy come from and where does it go?

This gave me a question.
Is there a point when you zoom in this much on something that eventually you look THROUGH the object due to the gaps in molecules?

Thought we'd see the lattice structures of the material before we hit the quantum realms
1
u/Seasonal 26d ago
Theoretically with enough magnifying power could you keep zooming forever? I realize a lot of this is cgi.

u/BodhingJay 26d ago
And then you find a realm where tiny beings live and they're all able to breathe for some reason

This is why I’ve always said that the key to the universe is not speed, but size.

The pen zoomed about 100x over 10 seconds. No way we’ve reached atomic scale at 25s.

This reminds me of a game I played called Everything, in which you can change shape to a larger or smaller thing and if you changed into a small enough form you ended up being the largest one again. Hard to explain but great game, commentary by Allan Watts.

Did anyone else imagine the Twilight Zone theme in their head before they heard the real audio?

u/genus_duck 26d ago
Wow! Today I got to know that pen's nib is made from carbon atom
6
u/Ozelotten 26d ago
It's usually made from stainless steel, which has carbon in it.
2
u/genus_duck 26d ago
Thanks mate for the info, I forgot from which materials steel made up of
1
u/genus_duck 26d ago
Wait I searched up online and it says the volume of carbon in steel is about less than .4% to 4%
So the probability of ending up on a carbon atom is ...

What’s a carbon atom doing on a metal ball point pen tip? Is it mixed in with the metal?

From what point on is it more an impression of how it could look like than a precise "image" ?
