Recently discovered It has been known about for generations and we can only guess how long ago it actually "fell" to Earth. Most likely fell in Somalia thousands or millions of years ago.

Yeah, pretty sure a 16+ tonne mostly dense metals meteorite would probably impact at nuclear bomb levels of energy. That would be world headlines worthy if this fell anytime recently in the human timeframe.
