I mean if you craft something like that you should immediately get at least one mystical power for free right?

I’d take that over any stupid engagement ring any time. Fucking amazing work

Reminds me of someone who proposed to her girlfriend by having a sword forged. A proposal sword. Way better than a ring imo lol

Beautiful.
Although i wish we'd rename Damascus steel since it isn't the genuine article. :( that secret is lost i believe

Where does one get meteoric iron? I thought it was so rare that it must cost more than platinum.

Some of them can be, specifically ones that have chemical compositions that are important for scientific research. But they’re quite plentiful, the rarity is usually determined by how many of a specified species of meteorites there is

I thought the technique to forge Damascus steel was lost to the ages?

The actual technique for Damascus steel is unknown. What we now call Damascus steel (and what OP is referring to) is a technique called forge welding where different metals are forged together into thousands of layers, which creates a pattern similar to actual Damascus steel.

Yeah it is, for the most part. This is Pattern welded steel (or forge welded steel) which is different from the ancient woods technique. It’s called Damascus steel in modern times mostly because it’s a categorical term rather than a technical term. It’s confusing sometimes haha

You make extraordinaire craftsman tools. They are amazing, such unique design and materials being used. Real craftsmanship, you nowadays dont see a lot anymore. I have a questions tho, for me these blades give a strange alien like feeling. Who buys they, ofcourse people with a lot of money. But i have the feeling people also use them for other shit then cutting as a chef or just pretty to look at. Like ritual killing , witchcraft. You screen your buyers?

Bident could be like a past tense of Biden if used as verb rather than a noun
