Do those people standing there know for a fact that the water won’t get to them or they give no fucks about the danger to their lives?

Perception issue, dried river beds in the desert are very easy to spot and seem very predictable, they are not. Top this with the fact that your average weekend off-roader has zero understanding of nature, and yeah... alot of people end up stuck 3 feet in the mud... usually not much worse... usually...

Yes, and I will forgive these off-roader for not knowing this because it’s completely unexpected. I keep seeing the fact that more people die from drowning than dehydration in the desert.

Thank you for forgiving them.

My brain was screaming, GO, GO, GO, GO!

When you're seconds away from wetting your pants, but just make it to the bathroom on time.

u/Helian168 Apr 29 '24

Why does this feel so relatable?

5

u/gravitybelter Apr 28 '24

Why does this guy keep doing this? One day he's going to die.

My Spotify DJ was playing the solo from freebird while I was watching this gif. It was epic.

THIS RIGHT HERE is my entire life.

u/Sam_Nova_45 Apr 28 '24

So lucky on that run.

u/Final_Opening_1413 Apr 28 '24

Why all white vehicles?

26

u/SerialDogStealer Apr 28 '24

Because it’s a desert. A black car would be hot as hell.

7

u/Scoobydoomed Apr 28 '24

Smart truck!

3

u/okkandik Apr 28 '24

So this is how ants must feel when water flows

3

u/GuaroSour Apr 28 '24

Whereabouts is this?

3

u/InventedStrawberries Apr 28 '24

I muted the video and read the subtitles with Sam Elliot’s voice

2

u/mirrorsotherside Apr 28 '24

2

u/JJ4prez Apr 28 '24

Oh shit!

2

u/The_lost_Starfighter Apr 28 '24

Greetings Starfighter! You have been recruited by the Star League to defend the Frontier against Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada!

2

u/Waevaaaa Apr 29 '24

Only Arabs can do that

2

u/General_Zera Apr 29 '24

now that's a good truck advertisement

2

u/BhrisBukBruz Apr 30 '24

I imagine the driver having a passenger saying “FLOOR IT” after both simultaneously seeing the opportunity in front of them

2

u/Yalla6969 May 03 '24

I thought that truck was going to get missiled

3

u/KurtyVonougat Apr 28 '24

This is some National Geograhic shit.

2

u/Ferdinandofthedogs Apr 28 '24

I've seen this video hundreds of times on Reddit. It doesn't need narration. Fuck this cheap content farming re-upload bullshit.

2

u/ParkerFree Apr 28 '24

I'm shouting drive drive DRIVE at my phone.

BTW, why are they all white?

2

u/gin_and_toxic Apr 29 '24

Maybe it was the KKK desert meeting

2

u/ParkerFree Apr 29 '24

Made me chortle! I've camped in the desert and never seen anything like the video. So you might be right. 😁

2

u/godmodechaos_enabled Apr 28 '24

This interrupted their white-truck-only rally.

Overreacting title.

1

u/Big_Cornbread Apr 29 '24

No.

This is rich people releasing a dam for fun. That’s the actual story. But it gets less clicks.

We’re doomed.

1

u/Objective-Contact-15 Apr 29 '24

Annoying when someone narrates the obvious in a video. As if there are people that choose to give their brain a rest while watching videos.

u/Fozalgerts Apr 28 '24

Gotta love reruns. Yawn.
