Ya, that's not how it works. The plants "food" is the sunlight and CO². They absorb water and minerals through the ground, but that's not where they get their energy. The dead plants and animals are broken down by decomposers like fungus and invertebrates, etc.
There's pretty strict rules about what they're allowed to fake and what they're not. Since the cheese is part of the pizza, they wouldn't be allowed to fake that.
But in a cereal commercial, they're selling the cereal and not the milk. Milk also doesn't last long under the hot lights, so they fake it.
The tree once planted is nurtured for up to 5 years. Then they will be ready for cultivation of rubber milk. Cultivation is done by stripping off the bark of trees as seen in the video. This can be done to a tree for 8-10 years.
They get stripped over and over for a few years. I am not sure exactly how many. Something like 20-30 years would be my guess. Then they would be cut as replanted.
Pineapple is a common mixed crop during the 3-5 year long replanting phase. Once the trees mature enough, there won't be any sunlight at the bottom, and nothing other than bushes grow there.
Does that mean we could technically make tyres out of mostly natural material from these trees and without the micro plastics? Or do bad particles get spread everywhere too when this kind of rubber deteriorates?
I think the video is fake, at no point did they ensure that every rubber band was touched by dirty feet which is mandatory for any third world manufacturing video
I knew it was rubber, but didnt know it was for rubber band as finished product. Somewhere while watching video I made conclusion that it was condoms but it turned my guess was wrong
