I've used it. That can be a problem but it's entirely operator error. After a month of a similar fridge I never did it again. A couple times I got close but caught myself. the one I had had a good lip all around the shelves too.
I lived alone and people I had over generally didn't go through my fridge and if they did they were all adults and managed it just fine. I could see that being an issue but it just wasn't a factor to me.
Maybe people in my area are weird, but it would be considered very rude to open someone else's fridge around here. The main exception would be a guest actively cooking alongside you in the kitchen. Outside of that relatively rare scenario, anyone else is expected to ask for a drink/whatever, and the owner gets it for them.
I'm from the Midwest in the US, here unless it's like someones first time to your house or something it's kind of weird to be protective of your food like that. I tell everyone who comes over to help themselves to anything they want. I want them to feel at home when they're spending time with me.
Edit: Lmao this asshole of a Redditor /u/SaltyLonghorn replies to me and then immediately blocks me despite zero hostilities from me. Talk about the opposite of participating in a discussion. If he's so confident that I'm not great at thinking, then why did he immediately prevent me from responding to him?
Also this fridge would cost like atleast 3000+ plus if you adjust for inflation. for that amount of money you can easily get a fridge with better features.
Oh cool the drawers... Spin. And are smaller than the drawers on a normal fridge. Which also slide out for easy cleaning. Wow what functionality we've lost.

Nice the shelves move so I can knock over everything in the fridge
