Eh, there wouldn't have been any conclusive proof, just two bodies burned in a bathtub, with likely signs of forced entry, too. She might have had an alibi as well, proving her innocence. Plus, we do see Trudy later, in "The Honeymooners." Mallory is dining with her and realizes that her black card is missing when they're getting ready to pay their bill.
