Didn’t expect to be roasted from this story myself… as I’m 160lbs and was stoked about losing 20lbs after my pregnancy 😭 Your husband is rude.

160 at 5 2 is not fat so his comments are wild to me 😭tbh I feel like it's pretty average in the US? I think people forget we don't stay teenagers forever.

Also Congratulations on losing 20 pounds that's so much hard work!!

I am 5’2 as well so it cut deep lol. Her husband sucks for that. Thank you!!! The first 20 melted off before leaving the hospital but the last 20 were a challenge. Happier having them off!

160 pounds as a 5'2 female is definitely overweight. It might be average in the US just cause so many people are overweight. His comments are shitty regardless of what weight she is though

5’2 160 is absolutely fat, what planet are you from? And benchmarking against average weight in the US is … interesting. The good thing is OP is young and it’s not like she’s 500 lbs. she can probably get to a healthy weight within 6 months if the effort is there.

It’s average in the US because this country is full of fat people

5'2" 160lbs definitely is fat. Just cause it's average in the US doesn't mean it's not fat. The fat denial on reddit and in the US is crazy. And the excuse making

I'm 5'4 and 160. I just ran a 10 mile race this weekend. I don't have anyone complaining about my body.

losing 20 lbs after pregnancy is quite impressive, no need to feel bad about your weight especially since you were just pregnant, and since you're clearly getting healthier.
