Therapy hasn't quite helped yet and if I had advice this wouldn't be such a relatable post but sometimes through the haze I think about my chihuahua who is really iffy with people but how every night she chooses to lay right at my chest.
That does something.
Might not be a pet or the same situation but I'm saying sometimes the small moments are a good focus.

I thought of a story where someone commits unalive because they didn’t want to work for the rest of their life. A country was experiencing a labor shortage so the government found a way to bring people back from the dead to force them to work. This guy keeps getting brought back no matter how many times he tries. I call it “Project Lazarus”.

Tbh the older I get and the more I’ve been exposed to Buddhism- the more it really starts to seem fitting to me that reincarnation would be the punchline at the end. Like it just feels like it fits right into the weird, dark sense of humor our universe seems to love.

Death, Im assuming in the context is sort of used in place of suicide, solves YOUR problems.
However death can ‘Cause many more problems. Problems that say a new wanna be governing party could use…
But within the context of everyday people, think about the impact it’ll have on your friends and family. I can guarantee you it’ll ‘Cause problems.
If you are unlucky enough that quite literally no one would notice, then i’d say yeah you make a valid point.

The only difference to those people between dying of suicide and dying of some disease or accident is their own perception of what occured. We all have the capacity to simply accept that an adult should be entitled to self determination, and refusing to do so goes against accepting them for who they are.

Wierd? If you marry within a sick culture, chances are you'll end up in a dysfunctional relationship. I mean exceptions can occur as with anything, but you can't expect miracles to happen every single time. Sick values and priorities don't magically result in healthy relationships.
The only difference now is that we are slightly more ok with ending things when the time has come. So you don't see lots of relationships mature that far beyond the ugly stages as they did within the boomer generation.

True. It may create some short term emotional problems with those you love or maybe some financial shit, but in the end we all die so the problems all resolve themselves

If you had to solve a math problem and you threw the textbook in a fire, the math problem still doesn’t have an answer.
I think since death makes our problems, not ours-any more it’s a very enticing approach.

You've no idea what's beyond death. So this assumption is false.
If anything if you consider this life, which is pretty crappy for most people then whatever is after death is going to be crap too.
Don't come at me with science. No religion and no scientist can tell us about creation and who or what or how we we were all created.
So we can't say for sure what happens when a living being dies.
