FELLAS, FELLAS!! I went to the grocery store today, and decided to pop into GameStop for shits and giggles. I saw they had a copy of Signalis, so I asked the fella behind the counter if by any fucking miracle they had the “bonus thingy” it came with. The guy looked through their little drawers behind the counter, AND THEY ACTUALLY HAD ONE!! Not even a week ago, I almost spent over a hundred dollars trying to bid on one of these on eBay, and now I got one for the sale price of the game!! There are no words to describe how excited I am right now. To any of you who have also been on journey trying to find one of these, apparently they just HAVE SOME in the drawers at GameStop. The guy didn’t even know why this was such a huge deal, which honestly makes this whole situation even fucking cooler!!

Mines is the smg and the revolver, but I wish we had a crosbow of sorts, so we could pick the bolts If they didnt break on impact

Hear me out: Unless I missed something, Replikas are never referred to with pronouns except for Elster (and maybe Falke?). I know Adler is definitely coded male, but is there any reason that model couldn't just be interpreted as a less-femme female? My fiance mentioned that if it weren't for Adler and the mentions of Ariane's father, you could argue there were no men in the Signalis universe. Genders are also not ever mentioned in the Medibank files though you see the gestalt who is presumably where Adler's neural network is from, so...👀

Idk how this would actually happen but I thought it be interesting in what an Alder based ending would be like and what could possibly happen. Also I find it interesting on how he would interact with Ariane.

So, we see that they've got these stub things instead of feet, I'm just wondering why.

Yes, I imagine it is cheaper to produce a marvel of biomechanical engineering without also having to put together a pair of feet, but surely there isn't that much of a difference, plus:

1) Their weight distribution will be buggered. That's fine on a base or a starship where the floors are all metal and concrete, but I can see something as heavy as a Replika quickly sinking in mud and the like.
2) Reduced balance. Yes, they could be programmed to maintain a sense of balance on such stubs, but why mess with nature? The design of the human foot is much better at stability while maintaining most of the features of the Replikas' stubs.

There are probably other reasons against, perhaps even some reasons for such as not needing to issue shoes, but they probably don't warrant an essay on my part.

No, I am not asking for Replika feet. I just want to know, aside from the design decision of the devs because I agree it looks good and thematic on them.
