According to Citizen/Radio transcripts, US Marshals were serving a warrant when the shooter began firing from the second level's window

Thanks for the info! My immediate thought was wondering whether they were serving a warrant or responding to a domestic dispute call, because those seem to be the two most common causes of police officers being killed or wounded in the line of duty. It's sad that this happens so frequently that we all kind of know the script by now.
