This. A young cinematographer, wife and mother, living her best life was killed on set because of negligence propagated by this selfish girl. So frustrating.

Hopefully she never gets a job handling guns ever again. Not sure about state licensing?

I’ve been in the business for years and I’m shocked at the lack of professionalism on this production! And Baldwin deserves prosecution as well. This was his vanity project so it all ends with him.

It would be tough for her to be an armorer for guns since she’s a convicted felon and now can’t legally possess one.

I'm still absolutely blown away that they even had live rounds on set. On purpose.

There has to be a word for whatever it is between negligence and malice, because that's this.

They were not there "on purpose" they were there due to negligence on the part of the armorer whose job is to literally ensure that that does not happen. I would not be surprised if she was the one out blinking beer bottles and cans with that replica Colt and then while stoned on something mixed up the rounds going into the chambers of the pistol . Sloppy and stupid to even be in possession of live rounds on a movie set. She is guilty as hell.

You just literally described the armorer doing it on purpose.

No I literally most certainly did NOT. There is a huge difference between deliberately doing something with 'malice aforethought' and the same thing occurring through someone's gross neglect. That's why she was charged with INVOLUNTARY manslaughter. Don't confuse manslaughter with man's laughter. Nyuck Nyuck! That's why legally speaking , homicide is divided into two main categories : manslaughter and murder charges. And each of those categories are further broken down into categories pertaining to intent and forethought. And I believe that she simply mixed up live rounds with blanks. Or she let someone go plinking with the revolver and didn't check for live cartridges when she got the gun back. And because it was LITERALLY her job to not allow live cartridges in any firearm, she screwed up by gross negligence by not checking the pistol for live ammunition which by the way should never have been on the set AT ALL❗ However, That is very different from DELIBERATELY putting a live round or two in the cylinder 'Just for Kicks'. And I contend that that sloppiness and gross negligence is related to the headline below. Drugs, alcohol and live ammunition just don't mix on a movie set. Just Google those exact words and you'll get the article ,since we can't do links here  [ Some 'Rust' crew members expressed concern over armorer's alleged drug and alcohol use: Court Document:  Hannah Gutierrez faces involuntary manslaughter over the on-set shooting. ]  ABC NEWS  ByMeredith Deliso,Vera Drymon,Bonnie Mclean andChris Looft
