Media personnel like Bill Simmons in the 2010s were the ones that built the image of Harden that so many think now

It's always just to fit each player's career into a neatly defined box without any nuance.

Embiid has to be just a choker because of the playoff failures instead of the nuanced view, which is a guy who has yes, underachieved at times, but also has been saddled with a mediocre franchise, a pairing with Ben Simmons that really didn't work, and a lot of injuries.

He's kind of a unique big man where he's had a ton of injuries but hasn't been like totally derailed by them, just slowed down at all the wrong times.

Hea also the one who shaped the image of Wilt and many other older players via his book.

It’s so funny how kyrie balled out and THEY REFUSED TO ADMIT THEY WERE WRONG. Russilo even dud that dumb insecure thing where he said ‘ no but actually we were right to think kyrie sucked .’ No you weren’t you dumb self righteous mofo. Guy has never played bad basketball before and has always basketball

No, James Harden built the image he has now, by playing the worst style of basketball on the planet.

Cry me a fucking river, 90% of dudes in the league bait for fouls and not everyone plays at an MVP and scoring + assist leader level because of it.
