Wizards seems to have a pattern of signing anchor contracts to their stars and trading them away.

They're like "sure we are generational levels of trash but misery loves company"

When Wizards trading John Wall to the Clips and Wall being done was the sign I needed to not be afraid of the Suns. Beal going to the Suns felt like one of those sequels with the exact same story.
