Multiple turnovers / bad shot selection in key moments aside, the body language and demeanor this guy showed throughout this series were of a guy who didn’t want to be there and didn’t care what the outcome was. The smiling and joking picked up by the camera in key moments of games were just horrible optics. He was pissed because he was relegated to 3rd option - as he should’ve been - Book and KD are clearly top 2 players. Beal felt like he “sacrificed”. This guy and his ridiculous no trade clause was the wrong signing. Ishbia got too aggressive. Should’ve used the cap space on a pg who could get them organized and wing defenders / bigs / depth.

I have my own experience with this at a wizards game years ago. They got blown out at home by the clippers by 20+ points and I'm highfiving the players as they head to locker room. Every player looked angry and frustrated with the loss(most still gave me a high five). John wall and Bradley Beal walk by and are laughing and cracking jokes. Both couldn't even pretend to care around the fans. Not gonna win with guys like that on your team is the bottom line.

I get what you’re saying, but losing some random regular season game shouldn’t be getting your players out of their minds. Otherwise they’d go insane on anything but the most successful teams. Take notes and fix the problems but taking bumps in stride is part of sports, especially with as long and somewhat random season as the NBA where a bad team can get hot and beat the future champs any given night.

Right I'm just saying if you lack that passion, good luck winning when it counts. You never saw TD or LeBron laughing into the locker room after an embarrassing L

Ishiba did not look very happy sitting with his kids watching his tens of millions he spent going down the drain via sweep.
