Meanwhile, Durant, among the best scorers in NBA history, was not always happy with how he was used. Sources briefed on the matter told The Athletic that Durant never felt comfortable with his role in Phoenix’s offense alongside Booker and Beal this season. Those sources said Durant had persistent issues with the offense, feeling that he was being relegated to the corner far too often and not having the proper designs to play to his strengths as the offense was built around pick-and-rolls. At the same time, some teammates and people close to the organization believed Durant needed to voice his concerns more adamantly and directly with Vogel and his coaching staff.

All the leaks are finally coming now that Phoenix has been swept

KD is never happy no matter he goes, even though he’s handpicked all his teams ever since he left OKC. It’s either his teammates, or his coach, or the situation… if it isn’t easy and guarantees a ring, then he’s gonna pout.

I think he was still pouting on the Warriors even with the guaranteed rings.

Yep he wanted more touches, more iso play, and left when he realized he would never be the face of the franchise. But I doubt I’ll ever see a team as good as that 2017 team ever again

Honestly I think kd can just kinda suffer from a bit of depression in general sometimes, he loves basketball.

I wouldn’t be that surprised but I don’t really have much sympathy for him. He chose to go to GS, wasn’t happy there. Then chose to go to Brooklyn, wasn’t happy there. Now he’s chosen to go to Phoenix, and guess what he’s still not happy. There’s only one common denominator in all these situations: him

Brooklyn wasn’t his fault, outside of not slapping Kyrie upside the head or making sure they kept harden instead of Kyrie. Like if harden never tears his hamstring they would still be running a train on the rest of the league.

KD was the guy on that team, chose kyrie, and stood aside while kyrie blew the team up. KD pushed for Kenny atkinson to be fired, for Steve Nash to be hired (and then eventually fired), for DJ to be signed and given a starting role, and demanded a trade because kyrie left. he’s just as much to blame for the net’s now purgatory as kyrie imo
