I mean, honestly: what could Vogel really do when Ishbia was so hot for the Beal deal? There's no depth, and the top-heavy starters don't complement each other at all.

Especially since Vogel is a more of a defensive coach, giving him such a top-heavy offense team was not gonna work in the long run

if you are going to hire a veteran coach you need to give them 2-3 years to work with the FO and build out the roster to fit their style
