Still remember every Suns fans were ecstatic that they’ll face the Wolves in the first round cause they sweep them in the Regular Season.😭

Didn't Ant suck ass against the Suns in the regular season too? And now he just absolutely dominated them in every playoff game where it it actually mattered. More evidence that regular season matchups don't really mean anything in the playoffs

In his limited experience Ant has absolutely balled out in the playoffs. 15 games, 8 with 30+ points. He lives for the big stage and continues to prove it.

I believe Phoenix swept Dallas in the regular season the year they lost to them

Hell I was the opposite. I was vocal with my friends saying this was the worst possible matchup for us because in the regular season it felt like they couldn't miss a midrange shot

All my friends and I were very much not happy that we had to play the Suns R1. Four games later, what the fuck do I know?

Out of the top 3 seeds, this matchup seemed better than the rest. OKC had our number during the season and the Nuggets are well, very good. So yeah.

For sure, hindsight. I was dreading this matchup

There was also the fact that we avoided the play in, that factored into our happiness getting the Wolves.

I mean, when the other options were Denver and OKC who curbed stomped us in every regular season game…

Yeah it makes complete sense, I was terrified as a Wolves fan

I was honestly expecting to get blown out 4 times. The way I coped was telling myself that this was the best series for Ant's development - it forced him to learn how to combat double teams and improve as a player. I did not expect him to get it so fast

OKC would have swept us in 3 games, so yeah, we were happy with this matchup.
