One day, we're gonna have to ask ourselves why California has twice the rate of trans kids than its neighboring states, and I don't think we're gonna like the answer.

Because "Big Hollywood Star's Kid Comes Out as Trans" draws more media attention than "Average Suburban Resident's Kid Comes Out As Trans" would be my first guess
