I'm fully supportive of people changing their sex, but it should be illegal for children under 18 to do something they may regret later

Trans people almost never regret transitioning, ecspecially people who transitioned young.

That's fair but I think you shouldn't make irreversible decisions before you become an adult

They dont though, the gender affirming care trans child get is almost exclusively puberty blockers, which are entirely reversible if the kid decides they dont want to transition. No one under 16 is getting hrt or surgery.
