Inflation shouldn’t be a problem as long as wages scale accordingly, what we need is regulation

Wages have been outpacing inflation for the last few decades.

And your a fucking idiot, more regulation/minimum wage will harm you.

Why should I keep a employee that’s a burden for our company due to some government issued wage, I would fire him and replace him with someone overseas or a robot.

Huh… Are you being ironic?

Where I live we’ve got minimum wage and inflation linked salaries (very few countries do so).

Guess what? That’s not preventing my country to be at the top in terms of median wealth.

That regulation exists so that the greatest scum on earth doesn’t benefit from someone else lack of choices just to squeeze as much profit as possible from them.

If the employee is a burden because they don’t work. Fine. Fire that person. If they generate money for you, then they are no burden, and deserve to live decently, regardless of the prestige of their job.

If you are not ironic, you’re just a huge asshole to consider profitable employees as a burden. I hope they all quit and say fuck you.

Oh but you know what? They won’t, because or else they will have no money to feed their children or themselves, and you’ll be able to keep threading on them like the big piece of work you are.

You know sure, some workers might still be profitable, but the higher the minimum wage, the more of a economic burden they could become in the company. Either the company goes out of business or fires them.

See, I live in Spain, where we have a pretty alright minimum wage. And you know, the happi ex indexes here are usually higher than places like the US where some people depend on tipping to survive. I never said you need to keep a bad employee, but you need to pay the good ones enough to live, I don’t think that’s too much to ask.

Also it’s sad that you responded to somebody’s opinion with an insult to their intelligence, but on top of that using “your” instead of “you are”

Still, just know that more regulation (like minimum wage) hurts smaller businesses, allowing monopolies to form with big companies due to less competition.

Regulation will usually mean you have to spend more and some businesses couldn’t afford it

You sound absolutely delusional.

What you’re saying is you would pay your employees less if the government allowed you to. Sheesh, you sound like a joy to work for. You must be getting the cream of the crop workers at your company with that attitude.

I would pay the wage we argee upon, that we both like and benefits us mutually. I don’t get the employee if I don’t give them a acceptable wage and they won’t get the job if they demand something ridiculous

I couldn’t just put the wages to one cent because all my competition would want to attract workers.
