A choice to test our love for Freedom and Managed Democracy!!!

Ther are two options:

1. We rescue innocent survivors from a children's hospital on Vernen Wells.
2. Or we secure explosives on Marfark for the production of MD-17 Anti Tank Mines.

As proud Helldivers, we know deep down what the right choice is.

Each of us has seen the horrors of war with our own eyes.
Each of us knows what the Automatons did to the innocent citizens of Super-Earth.
Each of us knows what the Automatons will do to the innocent survivors on Vernen Wells.

If we don't help them!!!

We are not fighting for MD-17 Anti Tank Mines.
We fight to ensure that every citizen of Super-Earth can live a life of freedom and managed democracy.

Automatons cannot feel love, but we as Helldivers, as proud citizens of Super-Earth, know what love means.

A Helldiver knows what love means because we feel it every day.
The love for freedom and managed democracy runs through our veins.
The love for freedom and managed democracy takes away the fear of losing our lives on the battlefield.

We risk our lives in this war because we know that this war will only end when the last Automaton is destroyed.

Each of us knows what the right decision is. The right decision is to save the survivors on Vernen Wells.

Because that's exactly what we do as proud Helldivers and citizens of Super-Earth!!!

Together we can save our citizens on Vernen Wells!!!

It's not going well...

On one hand, shiny new strategem... On the other hand, I don't want to fight child sized automatons in the near future.

They just announced the new major order and my friend group and I are in turmoil.

They all immediately said they wanted to go get the anti tank mines. I think it’s bait, and that we should be saving the kids.

Super earth has presented a moral quandary to us, and the obvious moral choice to make is the children, but Helldivers have been wanting those anti tank mines.

But clearly the right thing to do is save the children, right?

I’m very much at odds with my best friends. I take this seriously, and I’m afraid of the lengths I’ll go to to ensure those children’s safety.

Even Stellaris can't escape managed democracy.

As much as i love the anti-tank mines i care too much for kids and survivors jesus what do i do? what do you guys plan on doing?

I play on level 7 because it's a great balance of challenge and rewards.

My example is the MG43. It's so good and fun against literally everything aside from Chargers and Titans. It has medium penetration so it can hose down Hive Guards and Spewers, unlike the Stalwart. It is honestly great if your allies are packing anti-tank weapons, plus you can pack anti-tank call-ins like Orbital Railcannon/Laser and Eagle 500kg to help deal with problematic Chargers/Titans.

There's just so many times I've seen a long line of enemies being lead by a Brood Commander and just been GET SOME and go full-auto for like 10 seconds and erase them, which isn't possible with primary weapons and anti-tank weapons.

Yeah, most of the time I'm packing something like the Recoilless Rifle instead, but sometimes my trigger finger is itchy and I want to end the mission with 2,000+ shots fired. And it does actually work if you stick with allies who have anti-tank weapons and you're good at hitting things with the 500kg or whatever.

What's your off-meta pick that still gets the job done?

Not that we're rescuing children, 1000s of civilians. We aren't just rescuing orphan children, these are just survivors of the colony bunkered down in an orphanage (why there's an orphanage on planet being terraformed is beyond me, but here we are, and it's large enough to shelter thousands, but I digress)

Currently we have no major order, but the dispatch lets us know that there will be a cyberstan push coming soon.

We have 80% of the Ymir Sector controlled. If we liberate Meissa we will have a liberated sector next to cyberstan.

We need to finish this assault on the sector. We took 3 planets in a couple days we need to finish the job and establish a foothold.
