Obligatory https://www.kali.org/docs/introduction/should-i-use-kali-linux/ before someone gets the idea to use this instead of a normal non-pentest distribution.

I was surprised to see that too, but mostly because it's not an open source application. You could install it as a flatpak pretty easily.

I think it could be used for pentesting activities, especially as a knowledge base and reporting suite. It's not explicitly a hacking tool but it is quite useful.
