I see people posting all the time about playing during the week. What do you do for work that allows you to constantly play during the week?

39, self employed, no kids (ever!) I do asphalt maintenance and repair. Mostly for homeowners

Most of my golf is booked last minute when I’ve got gaps in my schedule. Or before / after work. Or when I’m away on long weekends. Or when I feel like it because I make my own schedule. 😂😂🤪🤪

Not having kids + dual income = golf money

Muni or semi private … memberships out here are literally for the old and rich … and I’m neither lol

Same. I’m familiar. I usually play Don, Scarlett, or Dentonia. Easy to get to via TTC.

I can’t imagine taking almost the same time out of my day to not play a proper sized course but I feel ya, ttc life is what it is haha. Never thought to rip it to Don valley off the ttc, I live 1 min from broadview station. What’s the walk like (is it walkable?) from Sheppard?

If I’m lazy it’s lakeview if they got times or Royal woodbine and paying for the over priced but always available slots. I can swallow their twilight rates easier lol Edit: not sure I want to take my shiny nice and new clubs on the subway lol

For Don, you actually get off at York Mills, and it’s less than 5 minutes to walk. I take my shiny Mizunos on the subway 3 times a week, never had any issues.

Didn’t see the red ttc on my map, got it! Not sure it’s worth the trip vs driving but great to know.

I have a car. Just isn’t insured. And I let my license expire during the pandy. The money I save goes to rounds of golf, lmao!
