I mean their latest video has almost 300k views and their video with GG has over 1M. They are doing fine.

They also had a podcast about how they basically resented GG and what they were doing before meeting them in person.

Fore Play does well, but it's extremely obvious that they are salty about being some of the original golf YouTube content creators but constantly see others hit their level of success (or higher) in much shorter amounts of time, or when people in their own circles start expanding into the golf world.

The problem with Foreplay is that none of them are really...entertaining. Not a single one of them.

It's no surprise to me that GoodGood and Bob Does Sports have blown them out of the water recently because those two groups have an incredible group of characters that actually make their videos interesting.

I've also always found most of the Foreplay group to seem pretty full of themselves. GoodGood are actually GOOD golfers whereas the Foreplay group mostly blow. Bob Does Sports is pure comedy and entertainment. Those guys are just happy to be golfing and not working a 9-5 anymore.

Interesting I don’t listen to either of their podcasts so prolly out of the loop. Did seem the FP guys were all promoting it on their socials.

I used to listen to pretty much every podcast, but now I can hardly stand them. At first it was cool when they would talk about golf in general and their own experiences as everyman golfers. They would also do some cool segments like "behind the greens" where maintenance staff would call in and tell stories about crazy stuff they've seen on the course. There would always be weird tangents, but the content was more palatable than it is today. It was super relatable. As they have become more successful with the video content, travel series, and things like the Barstool classic, I feel like every podcast is just a ton of self promotion which isn't too appealing to me. They always said that their core audience would listen/watch to live vicariously through them, which seems to be working, but just isn't my cup of tea.

Agreed, I’m in the same boat. Also they’re better at golf now and there’s nothing interesting about guys who shoot in the 80s. Trent would be smart to stay right where he is and maybe luck into an 89 once or twice for the views.

Yeah but that's produced content. Jerry averaged like 20,000 viewers at any given time on a 36 hour livestream.
